ALEX KOTYCK

Alex is the founder and CEO of BridgeRock Inc. in Toronto, a management consulting firm focusing on innovation and transformation initiatives within banking, life sciences, smart cities, and other sectors. He recently founded PT. Abundant Impact Ventures, a boutique investment bank advisory based in Bali Indonesia within the impact sector, serving as Managing Director. His clients span a variety of industries including an innovation district where he was retained to value the project and assist in raising outside investment, a #1 global hedge fund where he developed a new commodities industry for a foreign nation, and multiple early stage ventures focused on ESG goals in Indonesia. Over a career spanning 24 years, he has played the roles of “acting President” of a publicly traded life sciences company, “interim CFO” of a private equity fund, and currently advises several boards of new ventures. He has been involved in a number of groundbreaking AI projects, with roles spanning from product manager to board advisor, involving natural language understanding, algorithmic operations, big data, mobility data, and predictive analytics. Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Alex now resides in Bali, Indonesia. He is passionate about spiritual awareness, the environment, and utilizing the structures and incentives of free market capitalism to change the world for the better.
